Skin - New alternative to retinol

In this episode of Skin, we discuss retinoids and a new exciting alternative with promising results – namely RetinART® made from algae. What many do not yet know is that new EU legislation has been introduced regarding the concentration of, among other things, retinol in skincare products, making it an excellent time to find alternatives. Together with dermatologist Emil Henningsen from Cutis Clinic and co-founder of Apeer, we take a closer look at RetinART®'s positive effects, such as reducing wrinkles, fine lines, acne, and much more – with no side effects like skin irritation, which can otherwise be a problem with retinoids. This episode is made in collaboration with Apeer, who on February 21, 2024, will launch a new skincare series with RetinART® as the first in Denmark.
